Maybe the next edition of the famous book should be re-titled "The Rebel Yell and the Yankee Whatever"? But seriously, folks one of the stories told about the modern Army "Hua!" is that it goes back to the "Yankee Hurrah." That's at least as likely as any of the other origin theories about it (and more plausible than some).
